Tidbits
Indeed,
even Hollywood's most desirable actresses proudly admitted that they'd like
to
get with a geek. "The geek has become the new Brad Pitt," observed
Amber
Tamblyn, in San Diego to
drop
the bombshell that her "Grudge 2" is so violent it might earn an
R-rating. "We've had a MySpace revolution."

THE
GIRLS OF SAN DIEGO COMIC CON: A COMMENTARY
We
were able to meet several lovely ladies at the San Diego Comic Con. Here are
our
observations.
7.
Amber Tamblyn,
of The Grudge 2, has a seriousness and gravity about her that is a
bit
intimidating - and way sexy.

FLAVOR, INTERNATIONAL:
Takashi Shimizu, director of “The Grudge 2,” told a crowd yesterday in
Japanese, “I love to scare people,” and then managed to sing, at the urging
of actress Amber
Tamblyn,
a verse of his favorite song, “Hotel California.”

When
Sacks Attack:
Amanda Peet and Amber Tamblyn have
more in common than just girl-next-door charm and frequently misspelled last
names. Turns out they both have an uncanny knack for finding the dress with
the
least-flattering fit, color and shape. On the left, Peet looks like the
world's
sexiest baked potato in a foil foible of a frock that bunches and scrunches
in
all the wrong places. Just how unbecoming is it? The blue-eyed beauty would
have
been better off wearing Saran Wrap -- at least it would have been form
fitting.
(Her shoes, however, are fab.) Tamblyn,
meanwhile,
goes completely pear-shaped -- literally and figuratively -- in a
cream-colored
catastrophe with saggy sweetheart neckline. The usually adorable actress
pairs
her flared folly, which we can only assume is from Gunne Sax's new Sylvia
Plath-inspired
Bell Jar prom dress collection, with a mussed, wavy coif that gives the word
"kinky" a bad name.
