Hi everyone!! Thanks for stopping by my site.  Ok, when you are running a website for an up and coming actor, there really is no excuse for not having information posted as soon as it comes out.  That said, here are my excuses in no particular order: I have been through three computers, switched servers, had to re-upload tons of items, the Simpsons were on twice a night, school, family, work, real – life responsibilities, very little help, etc.

 For a long time I was busy getting Amber Tamblyn Online archived with Amber’s old appearances and such while she was guest –starring on various TV shows.  Then I dropped that to start on Joan of Arcadia.  I realized I couldn’t do both at the same time so I figured updates and her current projects were more important and that’s what I focused on.  Meanwhile, my computer caught a virus and had to be replaced (now I have upgraded to a brand new one) and I had to move everything to a new server. It was all very overwhelming and became my second job.  A website can be very expensive to maintain.  Anyway, to make a long story a little shorter, I just couldn’t do it all at once.  I don’t have a group of people doing the work for me.  Typing, scanning, uploading and capturing video takes a lot of time, especially when you are trying to fit it into your busy life.  The only way I would be able to cover all the bases is to sit at my computer all day and never leave the house.  Not very realistic. 

 So, with the help and support of someone close to me, I am going to do the best I can – without running myself into the ground.  I am choosing comfort and luxury over speed. Amber Tamblyn Online will have everything archived so once something is put up it will stay up.  No one has to worry we will disappear.  I have updated all my website tools and bought a DVD recorder for better quality video. 

 Finally (if you are still reading) I would like to apologize for not responding to all the e-mails.  I am grateful people take an interest in this site and I will try to respond quickly and make the site more interactive.  When I got too busy with Amber’s current projects I stopped re-uploading Amber’s older stuff and I also stopped re-directing the links. I am used to being linked on Soap Opera sites and as long as you follow the old links you can see all the pages.  Unfortunately, if you came through a search engine or just typed in the URL you can’t see a lot of the pages and updates. For that I’m sorry.  I didn’t realize that meant Amber’s new fans couldn’t see the important stuff. 

 I will update with new Amber items and try to re-direct an old link at the same time.  I can’t promise I will be able to update everyday, but I will do my best! 

A Word About Screen Caps
Way back when, if you wanted screen captures from Amber's appearances you had to catch her shows on TV, tape it, upload it into the computer and make screen caps.  Today most of Amber's  'rare' appearances are available on DVD.  I will be going back eventually and making DVD high quality captures but that is expensive and time consuming, so I will start with what I have so far - The Ring and The Twilight Zone.
